It's based off a book by Jodi Picoult. The book's ending is way different. Not exactly sure why they changed it for the movie.

That movie is one continual sobfest.
Mean, sad, heartwarming, mean, sad, sad, sad.
Schindlers List needed for a pick me up.

No. Just a few additional scenes after the fact. Don't necessarily want to spoil it in case someone decides to read it.

Ok then, SPOILER!!
Anna wins her case for medical emancipation from her parents and Campbell becomes her medical power of attorney. Campbell offers to drive Anna home from court. They get in a car accident (car flips I think) and Anna ends up dying. They declared her brain dead at the hospital and Campbell mentions a girl upstairs could use her kidney (referring to Kate). So in the end, Anna does end up saving Kate's life. Book was flipping sad

I heard she died in the book. But I thought they both died in the end.
Movie ending was better.
Damn Diaz looked old in this movie. First movie I really noticed it.
