Elliot actually broke him out of prison and he left for a bit. No way Vera is going to be his main enemy next season though.

I had to go back and read up on that arc to remember. But yeah, Eliot sent Vera to prison. Vera found out and had Shayla held until Eliot would break him out of prison. Eliot did, but Shayla was already dead.
Not sure if he will be coming at Eliot for any vengeance for sending him to prison in the first place or if he will just want Eliot to work for him.
This is my favorite show on TV. That was a great finale.
I hope Joey Bada$$ gets some guest star/supporting actor type nods
