I wanted to get out of the house and decided to go see a movie. Saw Motor City was playing and I looked up the trailer. I hadn't heard of it but the trailer looked good. 1970s and cocaine action film.

So I am watching the movie and enjoying it. Maybe 1/3 of the way into the movie, I thought "nobody is talking."

Turns out, the movie has no dialogue. It worked well, the entire story was told perfectly with no dialogue. But, once I realized it, I couldn't stop thinking about there being no dialogue.

Overall, it was a cool concept that was performed well, but a movie with no dialogue kind of sucks to watch.

To be fair they built their entire marketing strategy on it being a film without dialogue so it shouldn’t have really been a surprise with any background on the movie going into it
