Anyone watch this, the 2 part TV series.?
So far 30 minutes in. Its good.
I like it. Its got Sam Neil and a young Cersi Lannister. Leah Headly.

Watching on the Vesee Box.

FWIW: It's Lena, not Leah, and since you didn't mention it, the woman with Sam is Isabella Rossellini.

It's also Headey, not Headly.

I own this on VHS, this and dragon heart were two of my favorite movies growing up

Along with Jurassic Park, Sam Neil played a formative part in my cinematic matriculation

Merlin was one of multiple huge miniseries that NBC produced in the mid-late 90s. They promoted the living shite out of this project and it was a big TV event and a solid film.

If remember correctly, they also made Gulliver's Travels with Ted Danson, and Peter Benchley's "The Beast" with William Peterson during this period, among others. The latter of which was awesome. It was during Peterson wilderness phase before CSI.

Yeah the TV mini-series events during the 90s were awesome. Tubi has a lot of them like Merlin, The Shining, The Odyssey, and Gulliver's Travels.

The Beast is one of my favorites, and it still holds up. I don't think it's streaming anywhere officially, but they released it on DVD.
