This. Although the guy seems like kind of a douche, I think Gibson is pretty far over the edge whacko. If pushed to choose, I'd guess that most of the stuff is true. If they guy fabricated it he's pretty stupid as it seems like there were witnesses present for most of what he alleges. And interestingly, Gibson's reply references the written apology (probably afraid the guy kept it - which he may well have).

I'm thinking very little of this is true. If this guy was there, and Mel was doing all of this, why does he feel the need to perfectly describe all of these events like he is telling him about it for the first time. He obviously wrote this thing for the world to see. I'm sure some of it is true, but the rest sounds like a lifetime movie. Which is probably what he will writing for the rest of his career.
