It was over a week adventure and cost us $$450 in the mid-90's - can you believe that?

That's a plane flight to Cancun. There's still cheap adventure out there.

Best money ever spent.

Although they did make us climb the mast and pull in the top sail...with no training. And no safety lines...standing on a rope hugging on the yard while trying to pull in the the top gallant is one of the scariest things I've ever done as the rope that you're standing on just rocks violently back and forth.

And climbing to the Crow's Nest with a 6-pack and being a teeter-tot to the ocean is a bad idea...because then you have to get down.

And every Scottish Isle had 3 homes and 4 pubs.

They pretty much changed the whole book

They took parts from several books and were pretty faithful to those scenes. Great movie and great book series. It made a small profit, Pirates made a huge profit. Most people would rather watch the Pirates nonsense; so I doubt a Master and Commander sequel will ever be done.

An incredible movie.

The 7.4 score it has on IMDB is a head-scratcher.

So rewatchable. Everytime I’m flipping channels and see its on, I have to watch a few scenes.

It's one of my go-tos when I want to let my home theater rip. I need to get it in 4K.
