Here is a prediction. Joan's husband will be killed in 'nam, then Roger starts hitting it again.

It definitely seems to be hinting towards that. I'll predict a variation - Greg goes to Nam, gets disabled (either losing an arm, hand, something of that variety), comes back to New York, can't handle it, and kills himself.

Yeah, somehow he is my least-liked character on the show as well. Can't wait for his office-raping arse to get what's coming to him.

On another topic, anyone know if Kinsey is supposed to show up during the season? I always enjoyed his narcissism and pretentiousness.

I miss Sal, so much more could have been done with that character.

Anybody notice that the plot arcs of Mad Men are very similar to the Sopranos?

Really good episode. Don's secretary provides some great comedy relief. Never thought they would've have gone that route with little Sally Draper, man that's crazy. I love this show. And how hot is Don's neighbor that's a nurse, I remember her from the movie Brick. To bad we probably won't be seeing her again.

I've now bumped Pete into my top two. He's really impressed me this season.

I dont know much about TV etiquette but I think little Sally Draper was a little too young to be doing on that screen. made me very uncomfortable.

Roger's scene with the Honda people was

Don is back to being the man.

Great episode.

WTF? She's only been back for 1.5 episodes. Her lines last night were the most LOL funny in the recent history of Mad Men. How can that be "getting old"?

I thought this episode was subpar. Guess i'm expecting alot from the best drama on television. Seems a bit disjointed and contrived.

Does anybody want to argue for that NOT being the best Mad Men episode ever?

It had great account suspense and drama
Sexual tension/Great Don pickup lines ("Dinner with your fake husband?")
Racial tension applicable to the period
Humor (Don's secretary/Japanese men of Joan: "How does she not fall over?")
Betty bad parenting (slap/"I'LL CHOP OFF YOUR FINGERS!")
Intriguing/uncomfortable issues with the kids
Great line from Pete ("Christ on a cracker where do you get off?!?!)
Educational points: Japanese v's American business culture / Chrysanthemum and the Sword, etc

I'm probably leaving some out but to me that episode was the epitome of what Mad Men is about and was one of the best hours in American television history. Am I overstating it? Obviously the prior poster would say yes. What say you?

I think a strong arguement can be made that this was the best episode. If I were to vote on the best episode right now, I would probably pick this one. But my favorite is the season 3 finale.

This was defiantly top 4 episode. I love the new route they took with this season and love how Pete is coming to his own. Roger is getting past his prime. I cant believe they showed a 10 year old masturbating

Best episode of the season in my opinion. Roger sounds like my grandfather who was in WWII

Not sure about the sally thing though and what even made her do that.
