Other than 3 or 4 songs the album isn't that great; but that's not bad for a total of 13 songs.

haha, I hadn't heard this track until now. would have been more novel to use this Aphex Twin sample if Andy Samberg/Justin Timberlake hadn't already done it on "I Ran."

It doesn't have the same quality of hooks and tightness of his best work. I think someone already noted one of the problems... too many guests on overlong songs. But I will definitely listen to it several times more to reach a more studied conclusion.

I'd say at least half the album is greatness.
Dark Fantasy, All of the Lights, Gorgeous, Blame Game, Lost in the World, and Runaway are all top quality tracks IMO.
The rest is pretty much all really good.

The dude is a douche and nowhere near some of the great rappers of the past but this album has some pretty fire hits. If I judged entertainers and athletes on their personal opinions then there wouldn't be anyone left to like. 99% of people on the tv may be terrible people but that doesn't mean they aren't talented. I don't let the thought of Michael Jackson grabbing an 8 year old's penis keep me from enjoying "Billie Jean".
