I thought Ava was a lot hotter the first season. But she had the trashy factor working for her that season.

Yeah, she has. She was smoking in the pilot. Not sure if she wore more makeup then, or is purposefully "downgraded" because of her current lifestyle as a Madam and Crime Lord.
