I still didn't like Superman being the one to want to rush to war. I would have seen Batman being the one to make the push and Superman being convinced after all that had transpired.

Also, how did not they not anticipate Darkseid having more Doomsday like monsters?

Would have mad more sense, imo, but the way they did it made sense as well.

I was shocked at how downright brutal this movie was. It was amazing, don't get me wrong, but wow! As strange as it is, the part towards the end where the rebuilt and converted heroes get revealed really hit me hard. Now, I was high af, but I felt like I was 10 years old again and deeply upset and distraught to see my heroes get defeated then turned into bionic villain versions of themselves. Really hit me hard man. I was very sad

Finally got my hands on this DVD.

Holy shite. This is the darkest (well done) shite I’ve ever seen from a comic company. When Alan Moore’s Twilight of the Superheroes script was leaked out, people were saying, “Oh that’s too dark for DC’s characters.” Hell, this is ten times as fricked up.

Even with their broadcasting the ending in the third act, it was a great, complete movie.

Matt Ryan doesn’t get the credit deserved for what he’s done with Constantine.

Makes me want to rewatch the previous films in this franchise.

Coming to DC Universe this Friday (Aug. 21st).

Hoping that this means that since they don't have new series episodes, they'll add a new movie each week or two.
