What the frick did I just watch? I love Cronenberg and I expect his films to be super weird and thought provoking but...wow. This movie is fricking bananas.
Still way better than the best picture winner of the same name.

Yes.
It's a great movie. It has been awhile for me though. It's an incredible look at human passion, desire, self-limitation (or lack therefo), etc. Bertolucci famously called it a "religious film," which I somewhat agree with.

Haven't seen it in years. Thanks for mentioning. I'd love to see it again. Where did you watch it?

That movie absolutely sucks.

I had to watch it low res on Kodi. Not available anywhere for streaming and only a bare bones dvd is available. For an acclaimed director like Cronenberg you would think all of his films would be easily accessible.

It's 10 times more interesting than any other movie named Crash.

Have you seen Crash (2005) recently? Watch that movie now and count how many times you cringe at how phony & ham fisted the movie is. Movie is so unrealistic it's almost as if it were written by an Alien. I don't think it even held up in 2005.
