I loved The Equalizer but I don’t put dude up there with the toughest of the tough. The Accountant and the dude from The Purge movies are probably > Thr Equalizer

Id take Denzel in Man on Fire personally.

Creasy was cool. But he got laid out by a couple ragtag kidnappers......

Wick, Bourne, Bryan Mills, Equalizer, Batman and Superman would all smoke Creasys arse

this will be downvoted to all hell, but i much prefer The Equalizer as a movie to John Wick. I enjoyed John Wick, just not as much as the Equalizer.

The fact that you refer to one of them by name and don't even know the character's name from the other one is really all you need to know.

Well here's my explanation for that.
1. The name of the movie is John Wick
2. They constantly say his name throughout the movie.

In the Equalizer he says his name is Bob. The chick starts calling him Robert. Not many people use his name in the movie and I'm not sure if his last name is ever mentioned. The retired CIA woman calls him Robert 1 time.
If his name was Equalizer everyone would know his name even though its never used in the movie.

Robert from the Equalizer is a badass, John from John Wick is also a badass. I enjoyed The Equalizer more than John Wick.

The Equalizer is a man who goes to try a free a sex slave peacefully then kills the group when that fails. Their leaders go after him and he kills them to.

John Wick is a man who got his car stolen then goes on a rampage and kills a lot of people. Maybe he was a little pissed about the beagle too.
