not sure how many are familiar with this fantasy book series, but its amongst the greatest ever...very much on a similar level to ASOIAF/Game of Thrones.
I'm gonna pissed if this gets screwed up amazon/disney style

no but if this movie is successful, then its pretty much a lock the others will be adapted. i think this world would be better suited for TV instead of movies though...there's not alot of time in featured films to properly flesh out a story as deep as this.

Love Abercrombie. Wouldn't this be better as a mini-series, one long episode on each killing? Maybe 6-7 episodes. I just can't see getting the entirety of the novel in 2-3 hours.

This is pretty awesome to see. Best served cold would probably be the most movie ready of his books as well, and an easy one off to see how it his book do on film.
Rebecca Ferguson would be an excellent choice for Monza as well.
Hopefully it goes well, but I'll keep my expectations low for now. After all, a man has to be realistic.

Probably my favorite fantasy author going right now. I’ve read most of his works and haven’t disliked anything yet. Love his brutal realism.

Good call. One of my all around favorite characters. Steven Pacey does a remarkable job with him in the audiobook. Great narrator
