I watched S1E1 on a flight a few weeks ago and within three days I had watched the entire first season

It surprised me. I just hope they can keep it going long enough to cover some of the truly epic shite like The Sum of All Fears and Executive Orders. And if they can find a way to get John Clark and Ding Chavez, the actual characters and not a stand-ins, it would be even better.

Isn't the new season in Venezuela and they portray the contries problems as a result of " right wing policy" while showing the socialists trying to make everything better?

I'm 5 episodes in and I haven't interpreted it as that so far. It can definitely be interpreted that way if you're trying to make it about that.
