While neither were very good, The Sitter was way better than Jack and jill. Not even close imo.

Jack and Jill was really a harmless movie. I actually laughed a couple of times.

The end of the movie was like a big irony sammich. Al Pacino totally sells out and makes a hip hop commercial for Dunkin Donuts where he raps. Then upon viewing it, he realizes how shitty it is and wants it burned.

Jack and Jill is one of the only movies i've ever walked out of after only 10 minutes

I have no desire to ever watch that wretched excuse for a movie..but what was it about the first 10 minutes that led you to walk out? I mean yeah, I get that it was an abomination, but was there something specific in the first 10 minutes?

The Sitter was basically a comedic remake of Adventures in Babysitting, without the comedy. JNJ had Al Pacino. I fail to see how the Sitter was better.

That being said, isn't this kind of like trying to decide if puking because of beer is better than puking because of liquor?

Those in this thread ragging on Jonah Hill clearly haven't seen 21 Jump Street.

Funniest movie I've seen in a long, long time.

at Simbo

No one agrees. FWIW I can't even watch the trailers for Jack and Jill let alone any portion of the movie. The Sitter isn't a whole lot better but not nearly as bad as JAJ

elprez00 is smart and gets my point. Anyone who thinks The Sitter "had funny parts" should no longer allowed to comment on movies....ever.

I didn't say I liked JNJ but it was nearly watchable. A couple of the scenes with Pacino were funny.

Of two shitty movies, IMO, JNJ is waaaayyyy less painful than The Sitter.

Def not his alter. AiB was one of my favorite movies growing up, the Sitter had the same plot, but no Elisabeth Shue and wasn't really that funny.
I like Adam Sandler. Jack and Jill was not great, but was not his worst movie. Not something I would actively seek out to watch.
