I've Got A Secret

I've been watching some of the old game shows that I grew up with e.g. To Tell The Truth, What's My Line and I've Got A Secret.
I have been enjoying them and almost remember a few of the episodes.
But, an episode from 1962 of I've Got A Secret really impacted me.
The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Armstrong from Wapakoneta, Ohio.
I knew without a doubt what their secret was before it was reveled to the audience. It was that their son Neil had, that day, been selected as an astronaut. This was one of several episodes which had some relationship to the, then new, Space Program.
I kept saying to myself "If they only knew".
But, it really hit me when Garry Moore asked Mrs. Armstrong "Now, how would you feel, Mrs. Armstrong, if it turned out ...... if your son is the first man to fly to land on the moon?"

I loved the old Groucho Marx show "You Bet Your Life" and the silly duck that would drop down if you said the "Secret Word" for a cash prize------something like $50 I think.
Another favorite of mine was the old "Amos "n" Andy" show. Somehow George "Kingfish" Stevens would manage to con his friend, Andrew "Andy" Brown on every show then George would go home and get browbeaten by his wife Saphire and her mother.
