Just finished up Six Feet Under on HBOGo, and I was thinking of watching this eventually. If I do start it, it won't be for awhile because I'm working on Fringe, Carnivale, and The Shield right now.

The subject matter doesn't seem that interesting to me, what with the polygamy. But the premise of Six Feet Under didn't look interesting either and it is one of the best shows I have ever watched.

What is the board's thoughts on this show?

Not to derail your thread, but what did you think of the finale of 6FU? I ask because a lot of people think it's one of the best finales ever, and I even liked it and it's the only ten minutes I've ever seen of the entire show.

I think it was about as good a way to end the show that was possible. Some of the scenes in the finale (at the very end) were kind of hokey, but overall is was great. I had high expectations for the finale already because I had heard it was great. I would say those expectations were met.

You should watch the show all the way through. It's pretty damn good.

IMO yes. It's a good look into a lifestyle that's taboo. I enjoyed it.

Big love ticks me off. It starts off with a even handed view of a decent polygamist family, then maybe because they took heat for almost glamorizing the lifestyle, they turned Bill into a total asshat.

Dealing with three wives, job pressures, religious turmoil - sounds reasonable.
