Why doesn't AMC allow it to be watched online? You can watch just about every other show that they carry but you can't watch this. I don't get it! Are there any other places this can be watched that you don't have to pay for it? Thanks!

Season 1 is on NetFlix so I would expect Season 2 to land there right before season 3 drops. Honestly I found Season 2 to be pretty meh. I'm not even sure if I finished it. It's like they took all the haters complaining that it was too much action and not enough story and flipped the ratio. It seemed like there wasn't enough cool fighting scenes and too much story that I just had no interest in.

Yeah. I'll probably give it another shot when it comes to NetFlix because I'm pretty sure I didn't finish it, but I just had trouble getting into it the whole season and I loved Season 1.

They should replay it before the new season starts. I had never heard of it until right before the 2nd season started. It was either a Sat or Sun and they did a marathon. I don't remember if the TV was on the channel from the previous night or if I had watched something that morning, but I was only half arse paying attention until I realized I like it.

I also liked the second season (maybe even more than the 1st). They bring in a new "sidekick" for Sonny. He was like what Jerry Lewis was to Dean Martin - AT FIRST !!!

Exactly this for me also. A show with a decent enough story and incredible fight scenes tried to introduce 150 new characters in 8 episodes. Fight scenes always seemed to be over too soon.

incredible fight scenes

Incredible? More like unrealistic and totally unbelievable. Or can the red-headed chick really fly 100 yards between building rooftops?

I never watched the old Japanese kung-fu movies so I find that stuff very distracting.

I watch the show for the storyline and think both seasons were very good but I enjoyed the new guy with Sonny. I think he added quite a bit to the storyline.

May just be me, but I definitely don't watch the show for the ridiculous fight scenes. One guy fighting 50 and people literally flying like the gravity doesn't apply to them.

You should consider investing in a dictionary. You'll slap your forehead when you look it up.

That's the whole reason the show existed.

Nick Frost (the fat guy from Hot Fuzz) was a great addition to the cast. I liked his character very much, but they can add him and still have more time devoted to the ridiculous fight scenes.

I'm not going to say it's just you, there were a fair amount of people in threads from season 1 that thought the show was a little too shallow, but they executed the hell out of the shallow end and those fight scenes. I wish they'd have stuck to what they did well.

I like the show and really like the characters and their backgrounds of how they got to where they are. I think everyone's horrible lives could be a story on their own. Even Sonny's boss rose from being what amounts to a slave to become a Baron.

I started really paying attention when Sonny liberated the kid from the gang that had him in the pirate trunk. He was riding a motorcycle. Later while fighting he was flying around. I started wondering that since he can fly why the hell was he riding a motorcycle.

That still sticks with me, like when the monks arrive in a truck to a fight and then start flying. Wouldn't it be quicker just to fly to the fight?

I really do like the show but I like it more for the storyline than the action parts. I mean I'm definitely interested in who wins the fight as that is a big part of the storyline but if I get distracted or look away during a fight scene I don't rewind.

Making so much of this show about the stupid kid and not just focusing on Sonny was what ruined it for me. I can't even remember his name, the character and actor were so forgettable. The fight scenes were what saved the first season for me, and Nick Frost almost made the second endurable, but not quite.
