I mentioned in one of the HotD threads that this was an excellent series and recommended it to others.

It turns out that the host, Robert, has removed them all so that he can redo them with all of the new information detailed in Fire and Blood and other new works, as well as interviews with GRRM and others. He'll be re-releasing them all in the coming months. I'll bump this thread when he does, because they're pretty good. No nerd fights or all caps in titles. It's just a good channel. The traveler's guide to Essos is my favorite.

quote:

Hi everyone,

As I mentioned on my livestream a couple of weeks ago, I will soon be embarking on a complete expansion and update of the Traveller's Guide to Westeros. Since I wrote and recorded it first time around we have got a lot more information about the the world of ice and fire from Fire and Blood, House of the Dragon, interviews with George R R Martin and so on. I want to include all that in the new version of the guide, as well as upgrade the quality of recordings.

As a first step, I have taken down the old versions from Youtube (though do not fear, they are still available here on Patreon as scripts and audio if you ever want to get access to them), and you will see the new versions first appearing exclusively here on Patreon over the next few months as a thank you to you.

You may also notice a few other videos coming down briefly from Youtube while I update them too. Don't worry, they will be back!

I'm really excited to be able to update something that means as much to me as the Traveller's Guide. There will be more information, more in-depth descriptions of the world, more castles and towns visited along the journey and all recorded at a much better quality.

I hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as I will enjoy writing it.

Robert

Here's a good sample of the style. I think most of his "complete travels of" series is gone as well, but Tyrion and Brienne are still there.
