If you know a new show won't get renewed, do you still watch it?

If a show you think you'd like only makes it for one season, will you watch it anyway?

Sometimes if I'm not sure, I'll DVR it (or add it to a watch list) and then hang back and wait before I start.

I've lost interest in ones that didn't get picked up for a second season, and ended up removing them because I feel like the story will never get resolved.

I used to not care, but then "Quarry" happened. I watched the first few episodes and was blown away by how good it was. I mean I really, really liked it. Then I read it was canceled. Since then, I generally avoid shows with no ending in sight.

Yeah, Terriers on FX made me the same way. One of the best buddy shows ever, and canceled after one season. Still bums me out. Now I’ll typically wait until a show at least green lights a second season.

Yeah, Terriers was great. I think the title hurt its chances of becoming popular.

I feel sorry for anyone who misses out on Firefly for this reason.

Join me in my beautiful suffering!

It is an awful title, and they kept using this image for promos...

I hope that the people in charge of marketing at that time were fired.
