No one agrees with it. S3E1 and the meeting between Cersei and Tyrion shed a lot of light on how stupid she really is. Jaime is the dashing oldest son, but he's not nearly as intelligent as Tyrion, and as was pointed out, Jaime can't inherit.

So who does he plan to give Casterly Rock to if not Tyrion?

BTW, the two major spoilers I blundered into deal with the Lannisters. One was unfortunate and the other is so fricking stupid, you'd accuse me of making it up.

I think I'm going to start Storm of Swords. I'm having way too much fun holding people hostage with spoilers. I got my brother to send me a coke via courier from Dallas the other day by promising that he would receive mysterious FB friend requests from "Joffrey Has Ned Executed," etc.
