Well, I get that she didn't want to give up on her dead husband. I am glad they went with Chase realizing that it was not about thinking the marriage was destined to fail, but she was having to let the last vestige of her dead husband go.

Damn, this season Cuddy has just been smoking hot to me.

As I said earlier, the acting in the scene in Wilson's office was just great. Hugh Laurie sold absolute defeat just in a look.

Now poor Wilson has two people close to him in the Happy House.

The look on Houses face sold it for me. The look
of discouragement in his face like 'I give up'. Great scene

I think it was a good thing he was in Cuddy's office when it all hit him. If he had realized it at home, he might have offed himself.

And once again, his eyes showed such utter defeat that Cuddy went from pissed and over his arse for good to caring in 15 seconds.

Vicodin is hydrocodone, NOT oxycodone. I do think that I read "oxycodone" on the bottle that he had though.

Actually vicodin is acetaminophen/hydrocodone just like Lortab or Lorcet, they all just differ in the ratio.

Well, he mentioned something in an earlier episode to Wilson that if he was committed he would lose his license. Not sure if that really would happen but he did say that to Wilson.

...like checking into a mental facility and potentially ending his medical career?

A stint in Rehab =/= Committed is it?

Committed means you went against your will. He walked in on his own.

It was not rehab. It was a mental institution. You can voluntarily commit yourself.

The name of the institution was over the door. That was a happy house not a rehab facility. The men with the white coats were there to put him in a nice padded cell.

Of course, they can just change it next season to rehab and that last scene was just a red herring, but that was clearly not a rehab facility. It was a mental institution.

Yes, and that's also the conversation where House said it wouldn't do any good because he'd cheat. That's why my impression is that Wilson dropped him off at rehab.

Yeah he said something about going to undergrad with the administrator of a place outside Philly if I remember right.

Still haven't finished this ep since I've had a ton of other shite going on, but the episodes leading up to the end of this season have been the best in history of the show.

Chase and Cameron's wedding. Any chance that was real? The actors are going to get married. The emotions seemed genuine. Been wondering about it.

As I said, the building was a mental institution but they are probably just trying to crank up the suspense with a red herring.

Since House said his career would be over if he was institutionalized, then we know that doesn't happen.
