I haven't seen it yet but I watched the NVIXM series with India Oxenberg and I'm no longer surprised what people are willing to go along with when they have some "hole" to fill

They showed an experiment where someone began to give incorrect answers to simple questions because everyone else in the room was giving a wrong answer.

I'd never fall for that. I'm the a-hole in the meeting that thinks he knows more than anyone else.

Oh I'd join a cult. I'd just get kicked out for being the "ackchyually" guy.

Wife and I watched it a couple days ago, and it was pretty well done. I knew about HG but didn't remember many of the details about it though. We both liked it.

We both said the same thing when that part came on. If I knew something to be true I would no doubt give the correct answer, or what I perceived to be correct. Everyone else going with the group wouldn't sway me a single bit I don't think. The lines were clearly the same size, so that is the correct answer.

I was planning on watching one episode tonight but wound up plowing through all four. Thoroughly fascinating. I was 23 at the time and remember a few late night drives through rural vermilion parish with some of the most stunning views of the comet. Such a sad story all around. Highly recommend.
