Have any of y'all seen Pawn Shop Chronicles ? Watched it this weekend on Amazon Prime. Decent "B" movie. Three separate stories that intertwine throughout the movie. Didn't get great reviews on IMDB, but it's pretty entertaining. Great cast as well.

Elijah Wood's platform lift shoes must have been three times thicker than Deniro's in the Irishman in order to get him up to that height in that movie poster.

False advertising.

But I am gonna watch that on Prime.

we actually shot that in Baton Rouge about 8 years ago. I have NEVER heard a person mention it since. Lots of known cast including Paul Walker who was a producer.

Yep, it was shot in Red Stick.

Wife and I watched it. I kinda liked it, she loved it, go figure.

49 year old woman, degrees out the ying yang, snooty women's club and president of her alumni association type and .... she loved this movie.

Women

It was worth watching for an entertaining little movie. Made southerners look bad, hit all the stereotypes, Confederate flags, South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana car tags, meth heads and nazi tatts.

But it was interesting, tied everything together in a weird way that oddly made sense in the end.

Here's the original trailer. (YouTube)
