And by what logic was this left out of the movie? This could have been a great scene.
It is probably the single most climatic and emotional scene/sequence of events in the entire fricking series*, and they truncated it to a bare outline to include entirely new scenes to the movie/leave the Won-Won/Lavender shite in full length/etc.
They should have cut the Barrow burning scene to give nearly full dialogue/setup as in book, and even if they couldn't include the funeral sequence (which would probably wouldn't have translated to film well anyway), they should have included the "noble" separation from Ginny.
And actually have the whole phoenix lament. It wouldn't have taken any more airtime than the current half assed inclusion as it is mostly background sound that could have played when they go to Dumbledore's body at the base of the tower.
On and on. I was bored but okay with everything up to point of them coming back to the castle after the cave. They then just take a base outline from the book, don't allow it enough time to fully flesh it out, and then to piss off book fans even more, after excluding those elements, they then make shite up that adds NOTHING (for example, the wands in the air bit...seriously? They could have at least done more than just destroy the Dark Mark with that).
P.S. I only barely resisted the temptation of yelling "SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE" right before the previews started in the packed theater simply because I despise the folks who are fans of the movies and haven't read the books. First couple I can see, but there are no excuses for it this late in the game. All the movies do as far as I am concerned is ruin the plot twists that make up most of the compelling page turning aspect of the series.
*SPOILERS:
The final battle for Hogwarts isn't that bad, but the actual final confrontation seemed a bit anti-climatic to me and just going through the formalities of victory. Not to mention it seemed like a complete cop-out....the wand refused to kill its rightful master? WTF, folks use wands against their master all in series. It is granted that the "foreign" wand just won't work as well.

The burrow wasn't set on fire in the book. Now how are Bill and Fleur to have their wedding? Speaking of Bill and Fleur, they were hardly mentioned.
I'm 99% sure they're going to leave this out completely.

It isn't really that big of a plot point, just like the whole Lupin/Tonks spat was just glossed over and they were just stuck together.
I was confused when they gave Luna the role of Tonks though, at first I thought it was just that the actress who plays her didn't want to be in the movie. And yet she made a one scene cameo later.
