Actually got decent after a while.

Animation, character designs, and voice acting was great. Cuoco does well as Harley, Tudik’s Joker is spot-on, and Bader’s dark Batman is fun. Lake Bell is a great Ivy. Not sure what they’re doing with Gordon and Chris Meloni. That’s messed up. JB Smoove as the Little Shop of Horrors plant didn’t thrill me.

They’re overdoing it with the cussing as these first episodes usually do.

Nice transition from Timm Harley to Suicide Squad Harley.

Took me about half the episode to get into it. I was expecting to hate it. Looking forward to next week.

Im glad they brought back Bader as BatB was great.

Did it all drop at once?

What's the ratio of jokes to cursing as a punchline?

I need a venture Bros itch scratched.

One episode.

I thought Bader was Conroy for a sec. That good.

Jim Rash as The Riddler was a bit Venture Bros Monarchish.

A bit heavy on the cussing but I ended up laughing at some of it.

Nice I've been sitting on the sidelines for DC whatever it's called. May pick this up for this and Doom Patrol now.

Some great bits in the first episode. The cussing was a bit unexpected, especially to the degree, but it fits within the context.

The 2nd episode wasn't quite as good, the premise was funnier than the actual execution.

Kaley's voice for this Harley is an excellent fit.

For this show, I like the stressed-out and raving Jim Gordon (it's nothing I would want as canon, but it's a fun take in this setting).

I think they hit their stride with the third episode. The cussing is used well (even becoming a minor plot point) and the characters are easing into their comfort zones.

More great voice choices with Will Sasso, Giancarlo Esposito, and Tony Hale.

I couldn't get through 10 minutes of the first episode. The dialogue just felt like a lazy effort to throw as many f bombs as possible.

Arleen Sorkin should always voice Harley Quinn unless it's a live action role.

She hasn't voiced Harley since Arkham Asylum. It's been Tara Strong ever since.

Friday's episode had a nice nod to Margot Robbie, with Harley popping out of a tank, helmet and all, and Ivy commenting on how good she looked in a tank.

(Robbie is starring in the new Tank Girl movie.)

This season ended really well. Not your usual happy ending or cliffhanger.

After a rough first episode, they settled down nicely. The Aquaman and Robin episodes were pretty damn funny.

Season 2 starts in less than two months.

Have you started the second season yet? Does it hold up?

Haven't started yet. It was one of my gym treadmill watches, so that put it on a back-burner.

I've started watching the second season. It is still going strong. I am really enjoying the direction they are taking it in.

I actually find myself enjoying the other characters more than Harley. I would buy Dr. Psycho a drink.

The Mr. Freeze episode has been one of my favorites of both seasons.

I enjoy the series. They decided to lean into how ridiculous the show is & ive enjoyed.

I also agree with the earlier statements that the voice acting is top notch.

I haven't watched the season finale yet, but I agree with this guy.

Put the show on HBO late night. Put it on HBO Max. There's an audience for a show that skewers the progressives and the dude-bros and the establishment alike.

Harley Quinn needs so many more seasons
quote:

What's more impressive is how cleverly Harley Quinn keeps building its own askew DC universe. The best episode saw Harley hosting a bachelorette party for Ivy on Themyscira, best known as Wonder Woman's home, rebooted as a tropical gal-getaway with a nearby island reserved for male strippers. The "Bachelorette" script by Sarah Peters worked as a tilted meditation on two levels of rah-rah sisterhood, shotgunning triumphant Amazonian feminism through a boozy lost weekend of bad decisions. That adventure fully embraced the notion that Harley and Ivy are waayyyyy more than friends, a somewhat canonical plot development that is either extremely progressive for a superhero-adjacent TV show or an unabashed way to get two attractively drawn ladies into bed.

Saw the finale thought it was pretty strong although the ending was certainly rushed. I guess you could say it was rushed due to the uncertainty of a season 3 happening. Nice to see Gordon and the Gotham PD actually being useful. Really hoping we get season 3 and they put it on HBO Max

Variety is reporting that Harley Quinn is coming to HBO Max. So it'll get a bigger audience and hopefully renewed to appear on DCU or HBO Max.

When Dr. Psycho calls Wonder Woman a count and the entire planet literally comes to a screeching halt I absolutely laughed my arse off.
