What series is Caitlyn from?

I've read Spandau Phoenix and Black Cross with SP being one of my favorites.

Looking for more of his books to read

This. I read both of them within weeks of their publishing. Spandeau Phoenix was fantastic! And why oh why did he kill off his best character in the second one? I would have read a dozen more books if this had become a series! (Maybe I answered my own question. Maybe he wasn't interested in being tied down. But, man, he could've made Tom Clancey money!)

I started his third book, the one set in New Orleans, as soon as it came out but I got turned off about a third of the way in and quit. I don't remember exactly what it was that I didn't like (it's been twenty years) but whatever it was I quit reading it and haven't read anything from him since. I'll admit, it's probably my loss.

Yeah I pretty much burn through them, but he has a bad habit of killing off main characters !

Most public libraries carry all his books.

That would be kind of disappointing and gimmicky. It's not like she is just missing or we think she may have died in the woods. She died en route to the hospital and was examined there, I believe. (Been a year since I read the book.) She dead.

Looking forward to the new book! Going to see Iles at B&N and see if I can get him to sign it.
