co-starring Alec Baldwin with Winona Rider as Lewis' 13 year old cousin/wife.
Very entertaining. Might be my favorite Quaid performance. The role was perfect for Quaid. As a matter of fact this was my favorite Quaid performance, I'm not a big DQ fan but loved what he did with this role. That was hilarious when he said...."England, can kiss my arse!"
Opinions of Great Balls of Fire?

I was driving through Ferriday yesterday and it reminded me that I need to watch this as an adult. Haven't seen it since I was really little.

I watched it a few nights ago for the first time in probably 15 years. It's good. The only part that I didn't like and I felt didn't fit the movie was when Quaid picks up Rider from school and it breaks out into this little musical with synchronized dancing and singing. I was like
. Completely uncalled for.

you really cant blame a man for hitting on Ryder - at any age

It's not England, it's pronounced Aingland. But yes, still a good movie.

Veritas! I sure lusted for her in Mermaids when she played a teenager (don't know how old she really was.)
