Folks who spazzed out at seeing an Anguirus fossil at the temple that Dr. Serizawa nuked in KotM.

You really had to stop the video & enhance like 200% to see it but it was there!!

*See? One of them is here, DVing my post.

Hopefully this movie will be as good as the last one. Not sure how they keep him as the bad guy. King Ghidorah was vastly underutilized a few years ago. I love to see him integrated and used in the correct way.

I kinda hope not. Minus Color was a clear nod to 1954 and a solid choice to help market the film. Whether they meant to do it all along or not. I liked the Minus Color well enough, but if given a chance, I'd stick with the original.

Interesting. I missed the theatrical run of the original and saw MOMC in the theater. Best theater experience in a while besides Oppenheimer. I guess I don’t know what I missed out on with the color version.

It wasn't a long run. For either version. Small budget film more than made its money back despite only 2,300 + screens on its initial run.

Most large budget movies (Superman, Fantastic Four) get over 4,000 screens.
