I just heard about this movie today. It is an animated children's movie about anthropomorphized product icons that come to life in a grocery store after hours.

It has a big name cast with people like Charlie Sheen, Christopher Lloyd, Hilary and Haylie Duff, Wayne Brady, Eva Longoria, Chris Kattan, Larry Miller, Edward Asner, Jerry Stiller, etc.

It apparently went through ultimate production hell that lasted around a decade that included theft of hard drives that contained the original animations and eventually forced auction of an unfinished product for $2.5m. It grossed about $77k on a $45m budget.

It is available on amazon prime currently for free. I'm going in on this right now. Will report back with findings.

Don't see how it can be worse than Very Bad Things or Jumper. Worst money I've ever spent at a theater was on those two.

horrible animation

the unfinished film was stolen about 3 years into production

$25 million to produce

$20k at the box office

10 years to finally finish and release the damn movie

It's certainly a contender

Read the AV Club breakdown of it some time. LINK

The animation is horrifying.

Alright. I'm like an hour into this movie, and the animation is literally giving me a head ache. I've been thinking about just bailing. It's pretty unwatchable.

They're in the middle of a like 20 minutes so far food fight where nothing really seems to happen.

Even with the ridiculous twist, and I don't see how it's even in the argument among the worst ever. Probably not even a Top 10 worst superhero movie, nevertheless ever.

I'm just curious. What are some movies that you find to be worse than I3?

I know this is subjective and everything, but here is easily 10 superhero movies that are worse than Iron Man 3.

Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance
Fantastic 4
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Fan4tastic
Daredevil
Elektra
Catwoman
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Spider-Man 3

Keep going?

Man of Steel
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
Suicide Squad

Yes, very subjective.

I certainly like the two fantastic 4 movies and X-Men Origins better than I3. Ghost Rider is probably an equal to me. Also, I am most likely factoring how good I expected I3 to be and the letdown probably has a lot to do with claiming it one of the worst movies ever.

I wasn't even that big of a fan of the Man of Steel trilogy, but thought they were infinitely better than I3.

Wow. Agree to disagree then. It is nice to have a discussion about something and not have a bunch of childish insults thrown around.

Foodfight! Really is in for contention of worst movie ever. I don't think it's even bad in an unintentionally funny way.

Iron Man 3 I can fricking follow though. Never was I confused watching the movie. Sure I got pissed off when it's revealed the Mandarin was an actor, but that was really the only thing that totally lost me.

Man of Steel was completely oblivious in the tone and characters. Nothing made any god damn sense on an emotional level. Batman V Superman, nothing in the plot made any sense at all. It might be the single most frustrating movie ever made. And Suicide Squad it feels like they put a bunch of scenes and characters into a blender and then just dumped it in a trough and dig in. It was shite as well.

I don't see aside being frustrated at the twist how you can possibly argue that Iron Man 3 is worse than anything we've seen from DC, save for maybe Wonder Woman, which I'm about to watch.

What's the insult? This is just a small example of movies I think are worse than Iron Man 3. I'm saying I could post more. Iron Man 3 is competent. The ones I listed aren't (save for Iron Man 2).
