Found it on prime. Think it’s the mgm channel.

Texas border patrolmen (Kris Kristofferson, Treat Williams) find a jeep, a skeleton and $800,000 in cash dating from 1963.

I could see this movie being the inspiration for No Country for Old Men.

Was this movie big in the 80s? Had never seen or heard of it before and it was actually pretty entertaining. Feel like this could actually be a great remake in today’s climate.

And holy shite the list of random actors that I recognized in this is awesome.

Red from that 70s show
Old Man Marley from Home Alone
Patches O’Houlihan

And a few others

Some great quotes

quote:

Logan: Like my Daddy always said, "If you can't get out of it, get into it."
Ernie: I thought your daddy used to say, "If you can't fix it, frick it."
Logan: He said that too.

Doesn’t ring a bell. Sounds like a decent flick.

Saw it in the theater, have it on DVD.

The "twist" ending is a little forced but still a good flick.
