It's impossible to have an intelligent discussion with anyone who can't even make small character distinctions like, I don't know, their NAMES... It's Rey and Maz Kanata.

Jesus, people.

I love how you think the spelling of their names are imperative to the quality of discussion. It really doesn't matter and you know it. Go ahead and be anal though. Everyone likes you way more because of it.

It's not being anal about anything. It's understanding that anybody who can't be bothered to get a character's name right has absolute nothing of substance to add to the discussion.

You should. The season finale of last season had the long-awaited fight between Darth Vader and a 30-something Ashoka Tano.

Many suspect that Benicio Del Toro's character in Episode VIII is a much older version of the main character of Rebels, Ezra Bridger, who is a force-sensitive 15-year old who starts to turn to the dark side at the end of season 2.

The preview clip for season 3 shows him doing much worse than the jedi mind trick, literally hijacking the mind of a walker (AT-ST) pilot and making him kill his platoon.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if Rey is Kylo's younger sister. Leia and Han left her after Kylo slaughtered Luke's other disciples.

It would SHOCK me if Han and Leia didn't recognize their own daughter.

Of course they recognized her. Leia greeted and hugged her instead of Chewy didn't she? What did you want her to do immediately explain the entire situation right there? It wouldn't be surprising if she was either Luke or Leia's kid and it wouldn't be out of line with the movie

I have to respectfully disagree. There is no way that Leia would leave her child daughter on Jakku. What would be her reasoning? I don't think she is Lukes daughter either. But not convinced.

Her son just slaughtered a bunch of innocent people, tried to kill his Uncle, and threatened to kill anyone who is Jedi or force aware including his own sister or Snoke tried to convince Kylo to bring Rey to him and Leias only option was to hide her.

are you really upset about the misspelling of fricking Star Wars names. Quick what planet was Chewbacca from?

If someone says Ray or Rei instead of Rey is it really that big of a deal? Jesus man. Take one of those things in your avatar and relax.

I don't think so. Leia is strong with the Force too and he never went after her that we know. I just don't see how she would do that to her daughter... Leaving her to such an empty lonely childhood. Also, the old lady alien (I forget her name) told her that whoever you are waiting for is not coming back.

Rey didn't jump on the Falcon right after the map to Luke was found. Logical thing for Leia to do if she was the mother was sit Rey down and have a huge discussion before going off to train with Luke.

Leia knew how bad Luke got fricked up emotionally after learning his father was Vader from Vader himself. I doubt she would want the same happening to her daughter with Kylo.

I'll be honest with you. I'm rewatching Phantom Menace right now. As an 11 year old kid, I loved this movie. Saw it 5 times in theaters and wore the copy I had at home out. Darth Maul and QuiGon were awesome. Watching it now, same thoughts. QuiGon, Obi-Wan, Palpatine, Darth Maul are all awesome. But fricking JarJar Binks is horrible. So is the kids acting, a bunch of the dialogue, the fricking midichlorian bullshite. All sucks.

QuiGon is awesome though. These movies had so much great potential wasted.

Leia was never trained to use the force and was never going to be a threat to the Sith. Plus, it's his mom.

Luke mightve talked her into it. It's not outside the realm of possibility. Luke couldn't have been there when Kylo slaughtered his protégés. That's obvious to me. Kylo almost lost a lightsaber battle at the end, which tells me he never had to fight Luke. He mightve been the best pupil, but he was far from an expert. Either Luke wasn't there, or Snoke was. So Luke mightve returned to see a slaughter and thought he immediately had to hide Rey.

We'll see.
