Dunkirk getting an awards season re-release

Warner Bros. is apparently pushing Dunkirk as its favorite to win it all at the Oscars.

Warner Bros. Pictures will re-release Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk” on Dec. 1 in a select limited engagement in 50 Imax and 70mm locations in 34 domestic markets.
The World War II epic will be shown in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Dallas, Atlanta, and Toronto. On Jan. 24 — the day after Academy Awards nominations are announced — the film’s re-release will be expanded to include more than 250 additional locations.
“Dunkirk” has grossed more than $188 million domestically in four months and another $337 million in international markets. The announcement was made Thursday by Sue Kroll, the studio’s president of worldwide marketing and distribution.

I want to see it again. I saw it in 70mm but in a less than perfect seat location.

Same we saw it in 70mm but couldn't really enjoy it because of stuff going on for us that day (work)
