I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't stand it. I like Sadie too...she's cute as all get out. But man the way she talks is just so damn annoying I can't not notice it. It drove me nuts in the first episode (haven't seen the new one yet).

It's hard to explain what she's doing, but maybe that's a good description of it.

I'm not sure how much I'll stick around for this iteration of DD. The original series was great, and we've been watching it a good bit lately with my son. He's 5 and likes it. But what made it so great was the cast of adult Robertsons. The kids, not so much. So this one losing Jep and Jase, and focusing on Willie's kids and their businesses...that won't hold my attention or interest for very long. I'll give it a few episodes to reel me in. But part of what made Willie so great in the OG series was him playing off of his siblings. and that is very bigly missing now.

Just caught up on this week’s episode, and I think I’m checking out on this show. It’s relatively entertaining in some parts, I just absolutely do not care a single bit about any of Willie’s kids or their respective spouses. And this show seems hyper focused on that.

I may keep recording them in case my son wants to watch them. But I think watching this weekly is now a no for me. It’s just not good, and most of what made the original show so great is gone.
