I worked at Blockbuster and watched it when it first came out. Oldman, McConaughey, Beckinsale I figured this was going to be some hidden gem. It was not. It's funny to hear every bad movie podcast talk about it now.

From what I read, they filmed it as a straight drama, but then the producers wanting to capitalize on McConaughey's recent rom com success recut it as a rom com which make it weird as hell.

They used to have a bunch on YT but not anymore from what I see. I still have a bunch downloaded from the classical era (when you would get the episodes directly from their page, prior to Sticher, Spotify, etc. co-opting them)
