They'll be lining up to see The Expendables.

And they probably had abdominal cramps after laughing so hard after watching Grown-Ups.

Shutter Island (even with the similarities) kept my interest better than Inception did.

I thought Shutter Island was a good movie, but felt the ending was predictable. What made Shutter Island better than Inception? I am just curious. I personally liked both movies.

Well, geez, it's kind of hard to not want to go check out what is supposed the be the greatest movie of my lifetime.

Kind of like a casual football fan who only watches the Super Bowl.

The ending does what I always want a movie like this to do...makes you think, argue, and contemplate. It was a great way to end it.

You obviously did not read anyone's criticism of the movie, and you just make a blanket judgment because you think everyone who disagrees with you is the same. Lazy thinking and judging on your part.

The ending was beyond predictable. Essentially the same ending to Memento.

The lack of character interest is what bothered me the most.

the ending was predictable

if you predicted the ending then you know the mind of nolan so well you might as well be reading his mind

the lack of charecter intrest

im sorry but your claims are BS

you have alot of intrest in the main charector, how

spolier

has his problems of his life mix into the dream they are trying to do inception on the guy.

you have alot of interest in the main charector as long with the ellen page charector, mainly becuase she is trying to fix the main charectors problem

the others only try to help the two main charectors in their quest.

I liked the movie but I saw the ending coming a mile away. Not the exact details but Of course he was going to spin the top

i still find it hard to believe that you predicted that ending but i guess you know nolan better then I do.

spoliers

did you expect nolan to cut in the middle of the spin not letting you know if it fell or not.

I doubt anyone could have predicted that well outside of 1 mineut before it cut to credits cause once he spun the top i knew it would pan back to the top but i didn't expect it to happen 5 min before then

i know im not but answer this did you predict nolan to cut in the middle of the spin? that was the essence of that scene, if you predicted he wold spin the top ok cool good job, but thats not the point of that scene the point of that scene is to get you to question the reality of the main charector was he in a dream or was he in reality

From Watching the previews, once I knew the movie was bout dreams I knew there was going to be an ambiguous ending.

your still avoiding the question even if you thought it would be some abigous ending i doubt you predicted that he would cut in the middle

but this is pointless to argue im done

Isn't the point of cutting while the top spins to make it an ambiguous ending?

I agree it's pointless to argue though I thought what I thought and whether u believe me don't really matter to me.

The ending made the movie for me. My biggest problem with the movie was the seemingly low volume/rapidly spoken short burst of dialogue followed immediately to a cut to another scene making the movie hard to follow at times.

This. Why the frick would you go see a sci-fi movie if you know before the movie starts you are not going to like it??

Then, you come on a movie board and say you didn't like it. Shocking, considering you don't like sci-fi.

I may as well go see Sex and the City 2 and come and post on this board that it sucked.

Like someone said before, don't be that guy......

This. (quoting myself)

I came on the board to get other's opinion of it thinking it would be mixed. I never dreamed (pun intended) that it would be the lovefest that I read. It's like a big circle jerk of people thinking they are so smart because they "get it".
