Superman grew up with no memory of his people and had an excellent upbringing on a farm with Jonathan and Martha Kent and they taught him and raised him so well that he chose to use his god like powers for pure good.

The Flash and Superman had nearly the same upbringings.

Superman had nowhere near that big of the family like Flash had and that still had and still has no effect on his conscience and pure of heart at all.

But even then, there's a reason why Batman always considered Superman his brother and best friend first and foremost out of anybody in the DC Universe and they always had each others backs to the point of constructive criticism and reminding him who he really is.
