Creed and The Lockness Monster

Not sure if I'm the only person that caught this or I could be completely wrong.
The episode where Michael Scott starts all the rumors/gossip about people in the office, he says Creed has asthma. Creed responds "if I can't scuba, what is this all about? what am I working towards?!"
And then last night's episode, they somewhat revisited this with his seminar speech.
Is Creed's life goal finding The Lockness Monster?

maybe he killed a guy whle hunting the monster and thats why he ran away when Caleb Crawdad told him he was a murder suspect.

I forgot about that. It would be awesome if this was revealed later on.
Finding mythical creatures was one of my life-goals in high school. I didn't really have a plan, but that was what I wanted to do for whatever reason.
