I've been watching this and the first two seasons were decent but this 3rd season the storyline has really picked up. I'm guessing this based off a book does anyone know?

Yes, season 3 did seem to pick up like the OP said, and then it got cancelled...

Shouldn't have made the show boring as frick, it's their fault for trying to build up the characters instead of showing the mystery behind.
Shows that does that tend to lose the audience. If you can't explain the mystery and still go forward with the show in today age you are gonna get cancelled.

My sentiments exactly. I was so hyped for this show and lost interest before the end of Season 2....and that's saying something
