It might have been before Fred...I am not sure what shows I like in order after The Wire (which is my favorite). But it sure is now.

then you'll lose, no doubt, these guys are brutal killers and they don't care who gets in their way, they have been doing this for awhile because of the crazy behavior they exhibit. Unless Hank gets help, I don't care how tough he think he is, he don't stand a chance.
Good call Adono, tubucoco not so much

Credit where credit is due. I made the call on Hank being tipped off and killing the brothers.

I just started watching the episode, and have not read any of the thread yet. First scene after the opening scene........woah.
One of the names that popped up in the cedits just now was Shamus
Anyone watch Sunny?
I might as well make this my little play-by-play post, since I couldn't join last night.
- Jesse's monologue.......INTENSE
- Saul rockin' the popped polo collar
- Saul "there's no honor in thieves....well except us, haha"
- Hank crying
This episode is very intense
- Another link to It's Always Sunny!
- Jesse's best performance, BY FAR
- Last 7 minutes is setting up for something crazy with Hank getting the good news......lull before the storm
Wow, I know I keep saying "wow" and "intense" but this episode was.

You only got it half-right - one's still alive.

Interview with aaron...
But since Jesse doesn't know that Walt watched Jane die without intervening, the Walt-Jesse relationship stands to get even more strained if the truth comes out. Paul promises that issue will be addressed, and that the season's last two episodes will be especially "mind-blowing."
"Questions will be answered by the end of the season," he says. "But what's so great about this show is you never truly see what's coming next. If you think you know what's going to happen, something quite the opposite will happen."

Things are going to get really ugly for Walt when Hank, Marie, Skyler, and Walter, Jr., find out that he is the reason for Hank's situation.
Posted on 5/3/10 at 1:26 pm to Tchefuncte Tiger
I doubt they all find out.
I also don't see how anyone other than Walt would know he watched the chick die.
I just don't see Walt being so stupid to tell Jesse that.

For Jesse to go to Work at Gus's everyday the DEA will have to leave him alone I'd think.
Good point. It may look like he is just going to work as a laborer everyday, then returning home. If they question him, he can say he is clean. The meth will still be produced, so they may take other avenues.

this episode was very very boring up until the last 10 minutes though
WOW

I am glad I chose continue watching this vs. starting Treme.
Do they come on at the same time or something? I don't understand this.

Do you think this is going to happen soon? If this happens, that seems like the end for Walt.

My bad.
Why was it too graphic to show one brother getting crushed but showing the gaping crater in the other brother wasn't?

The cousin could talk and say his attempt to kill Hank was revenge for Tuco. Why was Hank in a position to kill Tuco? Because he was searching for Walt, who, along with Jesse, was abducted by Tuco. Why were Walt and Jesse abducted by Tuco? Because he was slinging their meth. Hanks injuries are directly related to Walt's "business."

I agree. Walt just needs to keep his mouth shut on this one.

I assume you mean Walt and Walt has done some amazingly stupid things.
My question is how is the cartel going to react when they learn that two of their operatives tried to kill a DEA agent on US territory. Gus needs to elimiate the risk of them finding out that he gave the order to hit Hank.

I think whenever Hank comes out of it (I think he'll be heavily medicated/in surgery next week), that Walt is going to get some one-on-one time with him. And Hank is going to ask him if he is Heisenberg.

How many episodes later are you talking about with this?

Fred
Why do you think Hank would have any idea that Walt is Heisenberg?
He hasn't left bread crumbs all over the place. I don't see how Hank would have any inclination of an idea that Walt is a drug dealer.
At this point it would be an ENORMOUS leap for him to make that guess. A few words from Jesse could change that, but right now I don't see how anyone would be able to leap to that conclusion.
Tiger
I didn't say there was no connection from Hank to Tucco to Walt, I said I doubt they all find out.
I don't see that happening anytime soon unless they were all ready to wrap up the show.

Same thing I was thinking, but I don't know if Fred means in next week's episode. That's why I asked in my previous post.

I hope they don't, but if they start putting "two and two together," they will figure this out pretty quickly. This is ONLY if the surviving Terror Twin talks, which he probably won't. He may sh!t his pants, a la Tio. I hope some of the peripheral plots get closed-out and wrapped-up soon!

One thing I thought would come into play that has not:
When Saul was talking with prospective clients in one of the first couple of episodes this season he informed them of his class action lawsuit over the plane crash.
I thought a trail of this type might shine a very bright light on Jesse and subsequently Walt since she Jane died in Jesse's duplex and her dad caused the crash while grieving.
It has not been brought up since.
I guess they were just trying to show Saul's greediness.

The actor playing Jesse knocked it out of the ballpark. His "man on fire" monologue was amazing.
The one cousin is still alive. I think he tells his uncle about his conversation with Gus and the uncle will figure out that it was a setup. I think we might see a war within the cartel.

Anyone made the comparison, but Jesse now resembles the Pink Teddy bear! His face is all fuced up just like the Teddy bear and is down to one eye....
