I started watching the 1st 30 minutes of this Bleach movie, but couldn't finish after something came up....

I can't wait to finish this movie!!!!

So far, it was funny, great fantasy, had some cool graphics, great characters so farm, and very intriguing. I'm hooked and that was only the 1st 30 minutes and it's great there's 90 more minutes to go!

After finishing this movie I'm going to look into the Bleach Manga, and maybe read them. Plus, I've got a feeling I'll even want more from this world and probably enjoy a show also.

Don't be worried about spoiling movie for me because I won't return to this thread until after watching this weekend. Just be mindful and warn of spoilers so others don't get spoiled. Thanks!!!! I looked for Bleach thread existing but didn't see one about this movie.

I actually liked the full metal alchemist one that they did so I’m looking forward to checking this out. Maybe tomorrow. I never actually finished the whole anime but I enjoyed Bleach

Hmmm...I always assume these live action shows suck.

I’ll have to watch it.

The Dragonball and Death Note live action movies left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. I really enjoyed the Jojo live action movie and this trailer was decent. The Full Metal Alchemist movie got bad reviews plus I'm not familiar with the show so I never watched it. Netflix is also planning a Berserk live action movie next.

Bleach is what got me into anime and manga. I started with the anime one lazy Sunday and watched over 20 episodes that day. I was hooked. When I caught up to the end of the anime I started reading the manga.

I really liked the movie. It's only a little off from the original story which is impressive since it crams so many hours of anime into an hour and a half movie. I really hope they continue the story. Granted it will get much harder to make the rest of the story live action.

The first arc is really good. The 2nd arc has some amazing moments but dont expect much in totality.

My wife and I really enjoyed the Bleach movie. Deviates from the manga/anime a bit, but as long as something like that doesnt get you upset, you’ll hopefully wnjoy it as well.

Watched last night and it was a breath of fresh air, we enjoyed the ride. Want more after finally finishing Bleach!!!

I think, after doing research late last night, that there was a show for 8-12 or so yrs. Maybe one day I'll check it out but I'd like Netflix to pick this up for a TV series, no doubt!

Only complaint, wish they'd showed at least a few fights during his training. Other than that, very well done....

I tend to avoid em.

The movies tend to be pretty bland with sub syfy visuals. Plus the hot takes they do with the characters is pretty grating like Attack on Titan live action stuff.

I enjoyed it. The casting was much better than I anticipated. Will definitely be looking forward to sequel(s).
