I used to be a chauffeur, and drove Jeremy Piven to the airport once. Also drove Akon around all day on lebrons birthday a few years ago. Sat next to one of the Olsson twins at Nikki Beach Bar when I was in HS.

All in New Orleans--
Met Dr. J in the French Market,
Don Johnson on a balcony on Bourbon St.,
played pool with Joe Montana at F&M Patio Bar (though he wouldn't sign an autograph),
Kevin Costner at Que Sera (now Superior Grill),
Lenny van Dohlen--got drunk with at F&M (his girlfriend was all excited that someone actually recognized him) and bumped into him again at Ernst Cafe later--he was trashed that night. He was in Twin Peaks, along with tons of movie and TV roles.
Robert Plant outside of the Napoleon House--he was really cool to talk to.

I'm not counting any "saw on stage" celebs...

Interviewed Pete Rose, Stan Musial, Yogi Berra, Billy Kilmer

Met Peter Noone, Harvey Pekar, Moby, Frank Miller

Saw Alex Trebek on the street.

I would've rather had breakfast with Debra Messing and partied with Cheech and Chong.

Small Press Expo in D.C. in 2005. He was there with his then current artist, Dean Haspiel. Harvey was cool the entire weekend, hanging out with folks and just being a nice old guy. My son's in art school now, but was a 12 year old kid at the time. Harvey talked with him about comics and artists and couldn't have been nicer.

Ya he was the man. I would see him out in the neighborhood when I was walking my dog. If you didn't know who he was you would have never guessed what he did with his life. A truly nice person.

James Gandolfini - met him in NOLA when he was crowned King Bacchus at Childrens Hospital. There was about 300 people and sick children outside to greet him. He did his acceptance speech and spent the next hour and a half talking to the kids, autographing Sopranos merchandise and chatted and took pictures with everyone that wanted to. The only time in my life I was star struck. Drove from BR with some friends to meet and greet.

I ran into Kevin Nash back when he was still in his WCW hey-day @ the ATL Airport.

He was wearing a Fanny Pack

I have actually hung out with Kevin Nash a couple times, and he wore a fanny pack both times. I was too scared to ask him about it though.

I hung out with Eddie Vedder after a Pearl Jam Concert one night in New Jersey. That was definitely my top celebrity experience.

Met some people filming movies in Baton Rouge last year: Patrick Dempsey and Mekhi Phifer were the main ones.

Most of my others are sports related:
- Had beers with Mark Grace, Luis Gonzales and a couple others one night
- Hung out with Mark Texiera and Michael Young at a bar
- Also have a tendency to run into random nba players in random places: Jamal Magloire (Atlantis in the Bahamas), Caron Butler (Disney World), Drew Gooden (parking lot in San Francisco), Marvin Williams (Bar outside Atlanta) and Michael Beasley (random restaurant in Las Vegas)

I spoke with Sean Penn at a fundraiser for Haiti in DC last year. Friend of mine was really involved and introduced us mainly to tell him that I was from the Gulf Coast and had just moved to DC from Louisiana.

He wanted to talk Katrina, recovery etc. and rambled on and on for a bit. I just nodded in agreement and bit my lip from saying "Hey dude! Let's party!"

It is hard to describe how conceded he is... I had always seen it in interviews, tirades at the oscars etc. but that guy really is a prick. That being said he is a fricking incredible actor and his daughter (who was with him) was a smokeshow
