Looks to me like Kaycee was sandbagging earlier in the season. If so, it was a smart move on her part. No point in making yourself a threat if you don't have to.

Idk if they ever did it on BB (i think they did though), but I know for sure they did the thing on BB Can, where they let the family member in but the houseguest can't talk back to them. Those are always gut wrenching, but awesome at the same time.
