Most X Files fans I talk to say they can not rewatch the Home episode. I don't think its that bad to where I can't watch it again but it is sick and extremely creepy/unsettling

I’m with you. I’ve pretty much been desensitized to everything the 90s TV can throw at me since the Saw movies and internet porn.

Jose Chung is #1 all-time for me. It had everything you wanted from an X-Files episode. I can never not laugh when Mulder shrills after finding the body "yea, that's an alien body"

The sewer creature / Flukeman creeped me out as a kid. If we can count roaches as a monster of the week, it's a good one too with a fun ending.

Creative: The Unnatural, alien who played in the negro league and the alien bounty hunter was part of the KKK.

Small Potatoes was a really weird episode to me.

Hollywood A.D. was hilarious especially with Mulder's real life wife playing Scully.

Was Musings considered a Monster of the Week episode or story arc episode?

Best guest star was Alex Trebek in Jose Chung.

Scully's skeptical facial expressions make the episode

The flukeman was fricking gross. They made that thing look as repulsive as possible.

That's a mythos episode and is actually my favorite one too.

We find out that CSM is from Baton Rouge

I first saw this one when I was 10 and the teacher scared me shitless. I couldn't sleep for a few days after that one.

I automatically liked any episode with The Lone Gunmen in it. Shame their spin off only lasted 1 season

Both written by the same guy, as was "Humbug" and the best episode from the (hopefully) final season, "The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat".

Here's his picture:
