Chett (worst brother ever)
Principal Richard Vernon (worst principal ever)
Principal Ed Rooney (second worst principal ever and a perv in real life)
The Kurgan (raped the hero's wife, murdered his mentor, and terrorized an old lady!)
Gabriel (also see about 20 other of Christopher Walken's characters)
The Book of the Dead aka The Necronomicon
(I know it's just a book but it raped the hero's girlfriend with a tree, possessed her parents, and caused the severing of his hand!)

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible count... me.

This thread should end with Lumbergh, the greatest villain in modern cinema. None of us will probably ever be involved with a serial killer, a mob boss, a super powered tyrant from another planet, demonic forces bent on world destruction, or a seven foot walking advertisement for Advair, but Bill Lumbergh is REAL. This could happen to you. (shudder)

I've experienced a Bill Lumbergh firsthand. In fact, he held his coffee cup and walked around just like him. This was before that movie became a cult classic sometime around 2001-2002.

Lots of talk lately about how great Heath Ledger was as the joker, which reminded me of how much I like a good villain in a movie. What are some of you guys favorite ones?
-Some of these may not necessarily be "villains", but I think if you see who I put on here you'll get the point.
Ledger - Dark Knight
Bardem - No Country for Old Men
McDowell - A Clockwork Orange
Hopkins - Silence of the Lambs
Nicholson - Shining
Perkins - Psycho
De Niro - Taxi Driver
Mitchum - Night of the Hunter
I could go on and on, but there's a few. Do any of you have any more? I'd love to hear some answers, and maybe even hear one I haven't seen before.
Hopkins in Silence was more of a protagonist than villian. I found myself pulling for him!
Here are a couple:
Masalla in Ben Hur
Col. Jessup in A Few Good Men
The Warden in Shawshank
Mr. Potter in Its a Wonderful Life
