did they show the kids faces at the end?
Yes.
But:
quote:
the only way he can see his kids face is to get home, his real home.
Is wrong. He doesn't want to look at their faces because that would make the dream feel more real, thus making where he was ambiguous. As is the ending.

I'm not saying that as a guess, that's what he said when he was in the house with the young girl in the dream. So does it have any weight that he said that and they show the kids face in the end
Eta...also every time they show the kids in the dream within a dream within a dream, he never sees their faces

Haha. Everything sets up in the movie for Dottie to let her sister win. It's science.

Coolest argument I've heard is the loot that is stolen in Reservoir Dogs

Explain haha. Is it just the expectations that Naomi Watts' character wanted vs. what she got?

Yeah I think i saw on Cracked the theory that all of Tarantinos movies are in the same universe and that was one f the main connections between RDs and PF. Pretty cool read

She would never do it. Which is exactly why it's the ultimate gesture.
This is one case where I honestly don't see the other side. It just doesn't work as well.

Did Writer, Scientist, and Stalker actually reach The Room?
The writer, that's why we have the movie.
One of the reasons why I absolutely love this movie is how truly complex it is. Everything can be interpreting in a million different ways and no answer is really wrong.
I think Professor/Scientist made it to The Room as well. He represented doubt and scientific reasoning over faith. This is why he completely disobeys the rules of The Zone He also feared the idea of God actually existing so much that he tried to destroy any possibility of it by bringing a bomb. He accepted faith (ie entered the The Room) when he dismantled his bomb. The Room isn't a physical room per se. It is just a metaphor for accepting faith. So I think both Writer and Scientist made it through.
Stalker never went through it because he is merely a priest or monk.
