Can't watch star wars from prequels.
Remember how crazy it was when everyone found out darth was luke's father? And then Leia was his sister?! Would all be ruined if you started from episode I.
I understand it goes both ways but there is a reason why lucas released the movies the way he did.

Razor is in the 3.5 or 4th season. Razor is a wast of time if you are watching the series. Razor is completly covered in the series it self. I think these were catchups for people just getting into the BSG series so they didnt have to go back and watch the whole thing.

I did this last week. The damn previously-on for the first episode ruined the second half of season 2 for me. I stopped as soon as I figured it out.

All good points in theory, but in reality I doubt you're likely to find anyone who at this point doesn't know that Darth Vader is Luke's father even if they haven't seen the movies. My dad for example has never seen any of the movies, but knows that basic fact about them.
