I stand corrected. Congrats Master Fear.

When you get your diploma, email the admins a copy and get that name changed. You earned it.

I've gotta say, the fact that the police department is all of a sudden ready to backup the Arrow is pretty corny, and borderline goofy.

Well, there's that.

And who would've guessed that out of everyone that could possibly help Oliver, Blood appears to be one of them? Or is this just a trap by Slade?

ETA: Well, I guess we can rule out a trap.

Who here wants to bet that Thea wasn't shooting Malcolm, but was actually shooting the solder?

But I had the same reaction as you when she started firing off rounds.

Yeah, I kinda doubt Malcolm was able to kill that guy. So far the only way we've seem the mirakuru guys get killed is by blowing them up.

She definitely had to be shooting at the soldier, saves her father and leads down the darker path.

That's definitely what they were trying to get people to think. But it didn't take much thought to guess what really happened once the initial shock of her suddenly firing off rounds wore off.

But with that said, it would be pretty freaking crazy if the opening scene of next week's episode is Thea standing over Malcolm's blood soaked lifeless body. But that ain't happening.

And I think them trying to redeem Sara's character by having people calling her a hero doesn't bode well for her future. I had myself pretty convinced that they'd save her for at least another season, but when side characters find redemption, it doesn't usually bode well for their longevity.

Yep, she dead

They kind of did the same thing with Sebastion Blood. He realized he fricked up, helped Ollie, then he dead.

just got to watch it.

i mean the cops had no choice but to back the arrow. they were literally being slaughtered and had no one else.

as said, thea is CLEARLY not shooting malcolm. she ends up with him. almost a 100% lock now.

i dont think Sara dies. im still going with the league angle. and with them shown in the preview behind oliver, im sticking to it right now.

yall notice Roy wearing a red mask and quiver? so will he be dubbed speedy or arsenal? should be pretty interesting.

the league has to frick over oliver in the end right?

Not really. Good episode. So Roy is walking with Ollie in the preview. So did the stuff just make them not as crazy because if not then why bring him. All he can do is beat up some dumb kids

You had me swayed until this episode, but now I'm back in the corner of her dying in the finale. Redemption doesn't last long in these shows. Add to it Sara's explanation of her name being Canary to Laurel and how Laurel was so quick to credit the rescue of the girl to the Canary, and I just don't think it bodes too well for her. Hopefully I'm wrong because I like Sara's character.

Well, we know that the writers intend for him to eventually take up the mantel of Arsenal, but I'm not sure he is ready to take it up yet. In the comics Roy didn't take up that name until he was off on his own, and I don't think he has trained enough to go out on his own yet.

I think he'll end up on their bad side.

Here's the official episode description for the finale:
quote:

OLIVER MUST DECIDE ONCE AND FOR ALL IF HE’S A KILLER OR A HERO — Slade (Manu Bennett) moves forward with his plan to kill one more person in Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) life. While Oliver has fought all year to be more than the killer he once was, when Slade kidnaps someone close to Oliver’s heart, Oliver is pushed to the edge and realizes sometimes it takes doing the unthinkable to stop the monster. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) takes on Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) with a little help from some friends, and Thea (Willa Holland) turns to Roy (Colton Haynes) in her time of need. John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Andrew Kreisberg (#223).

Two questions come to mind when reading that. First, is that hinting at Diggle getting the Suicide Squad back together to take on Waller?

And why is Thea turning to Roy "in her time of need"?

Sounds like there's going to be a lot going on for the finale.
