Idk why anyone was shocked by that situation, especially if you’ve listened to him for so many years. Most people in comedy are fricked up in some sort of way.

Sure, but it's hard to pull off super edgy material, like pedophilia jokes, when it turns out you're actually a creep in real life. Those kind of jokes only land when there's a seemingly shocking contradiction between super diseased jokes and a milquetoast image.
