Binge watched it this weekend (6 episodes) and it was absolutely fascinating and very well done.

Part documentary with period piece reenactments by some talented actors. Crazy that all of the stories are based on actual events, and just how lucky I am to have been born in this time period, and not the 1600s or so.

Episodes focus on disease, werewolves, lobotomies, possessed dolls, seances, and changelings; and the history and folklore surrounding them.

Highly recommend for those with an interest in the macabre and also interested in history and folklore.

All I’m wondering.

Lol, nah. It's really well done and I hope they order more episodes, one of the easiest binge watches I've ever done.

No, not scary, but there are moments that are unsettling because it based on real accounts.

The one about the possessed dolls was probably the creepiest.

you listen to the podcasts at all?

I thought about checking it out but I feel like they are probably stories I've heard on the podcast already

They are the same, but it's still good.

It's pretty interesting. As a psychologist, the one about the history of psychiatry was sort of boring just because I already knew all of that stuff. Also, the portrayal of ECT wasn't completely accurate. The writer suggests that it was ineffective. It actually is just as effective for Mood Disorders as medications and psychotherapy but is only used as a last line of treatment these days.

The other episodes have kept my attention. The one about the changelings was probably the best of the 4 that I have watched so far.
